What Are Soakaway Crates?  Every septic tank needs a soakaway.  Septic tank soakaway crates are designed to discharge sewage effluent into the soil.  Soakaway crates offer a modern alternative to soakaway pits filled with gravel.  Gravel pits only leave a 30% space for the water.  Septic Tank Soakaway crates leave 95% space.  This allows for a much better flow rate.
